He uses male pronouns and calls Chihiro MASTER after seeing bits of Alter Ego's speech patterns hidden in the code that Nanami sent him when he first arrived. Zip is in Chihiro's PokeGear almost constantly, and the two converse very often. Zip is Chihiro's go-to companion when he doesn't have anyone else to talk to, or doesn't exactly know what he should say. Zip seems rather fond of binary code, and feels it is a superior form of communication- as well as resulting in 1 and 0 being the luckiest numbers, naturally.

Info: Shiruku hatched during a trip Chihiro took to Celadon with Byakuya Togami to have a suit tailored for him to wear to prom. She was enamored with both Togami and the clothing, and has been playing around with silk trying to make things ever since. (Spoilers: She can't make things) Chihiro named her Shiruku, which means silk, for this reason. She was very disheartened by Togami's disappearance, but in the meantime she does her best to try to keep Rich and Alice in high spirits. She evolved one day after spending several days on Chihiro's window sill curled in a ball, silent and hardly moving. Info: This little one came as a surprise to Chihiro when she hatched in the middle of the night on the second day of prom. She was a welcome surprise for him, after the travesty that was Poolgate 2014. She's very small even for an Eevee and very curious. She is also very mellow, surprisingly. Chihiro named her Henko with help from Joker, which means "Change". After much deliberation, Chihiro gave Henko a Fire Stone at the beginning of June with her permission, evolving her into a Flareon. She seems exceptionally pleased with this new development, and hasn't changed much, though her mellow demeanor has been fired up a bit. (Reached lv. 100 05/09/15)

Info: During a trip to the Safari Zone, Chihiro and Chiaki literally ran into each other in the undergrowth, scaring the other into quickly retreating back into hiding a safe distance away. Chiaki teleported, but....didn't get much farther than a few feet, enough so she could watch Chihiro from behind some bushes. Chihiro managed to coax the little Abra out into the open with a bit of food, apologizing profusely for frightening her as badly as he did her. Once he left the Abra followed...for the rest of the day, until he eventually decided to take her with him. Chiaki is named after- who else- Nanami, since the Pokemon seems very sleepy a lot of the time and reminds Chihiro a lot of her. She's not fond of battling, though, but that suits Chihiro just fine.

Info: Surprised one morning by two Persians in his PC, Chihiro was left Rich and Alice when Togami disappeared from Johto. Losing his trainer for the second time has all but shattered Rich's kitten-like demeanor, leaving him sulking and depressed. Because of this Chihiro never forces Rich to stay in his pokeball, allowing him and his sister to roam the house as they please. Chihiro feels deep pity for Pokemon left behind by their trainers, and he feels like he owes Rich and Alice as much since Togami helped him a great deal while he was here. He spends a lot of his time at the house with the Persians, practically spoiling them so that Togami himself would be proud. He and Alice wear matching, fancy collars.

Info: Surprised one morning by twin Persians in his PC, Chihiro was left Alice and Rich when Togami disappeared from Johto. Like Rich, she has taken losing her trainer for a second time extremely hard, just as listless and miserable as Rich is. Chihiro feels awful for both Persians and allows them to do practically whatever they would like, letting them stay at the house outside their pokeballs. He treats them very kindly, not for a moment alienating them from the rest of his team, treating them as if they have always been there with the rest of them. Info: Hogosha is the mellowest of the group and seems to have a maturity that transcends his age. (Chihiro apparently lucked out and got a very well behaved pup- who knew?) He's very gentle and approachable, but fiercely protective of Chihiro. Hogosha means guardian. Hogosha seems eager to want to evolve, and while Chihiro is all for letting the Pokemon make the decisions, he's a bit unsure about having him evolve so soon after hatching...but eventually, after a shopping trip with Garry to pick up some toys and a fire stone, Hogosha finally got to evolve. He has since evolved into a Garchomp, one of the biggest Pokemon Chihiro has encountered, and yet he's still as gentle as a lamb with his trainer. Unfortunately, the ordeal scared her quite badly, and she didn’t really want to have anything to do with him for a long time. Even after getting her to move a little, Sukoshi is still rather skittish and timid at times, as if she expects to suddenly start dropping from the sky again. She's calmed down considerably since evolving, but she still doesn't seem to trust a lot of things...but she is beginning to warm up to Chihiro a bit more.

Often, she’s mistaken for one of the pillows on his bed while she sleeps, until she gets jostled or almost accidentally sat on.

John lives up to his namesake and loves to play pranks, much to the dismay of Zip, who is hard pressed to share Gear space with the little ghost. John is perfectly happy finding other appliances to play around in, but teasing Zip has become a favorite past time of his. He has learned not to play tricks on his trainer though. ..Okay, well, maybe just a few.

Info: Hatchi is a very active spider who likes to scurry around a lot. She’s very close to her good pal and partner in crime, Sato. Chihiro quite enjoys the company of both of the spiders; somehow they’re more endearing than actual…giant spiders would be. Perhaps it’s due to the fact that they act more like puppies than spiders half the time. Regardless, it looks like Shiruku is set on recruiting them both into her knitting escapades, one day.

Info: Named after a famous French painter, this shiny Altaria is pretty shy. He tends to hide his face in his wings when approached by strangers, and often times Chihiro has to be careful or he will fly away if startled to try to find someone's head to nest on unassumingly. Info: "Garry's Starter. Despite his line's reputation, Izzy is a startlingly calm Pokemon and it takes a lot to get his temper up or scare him- a difference between him and his trainer. When he was smaller, he preferred to run around on all fours and also cling to Garry's shoulders. This has become pretty much impossible since he's evolved, of course. Garry doesn't particularly like the idea of letting Izzy run around in the wild so much to just randomly battle Wild Pokemon, but the Charizard is fairly determined to grow stronger. In contrast to Garry's hesitance, Izzy is highly competitive even for being calm and longs to grow more powerful. He has a deep hatred for Red Eyes, who brutally beat him down in Tohjo Falls and thus ensured that he wasn't able to protect his trainer. The two of them have become fiercely competitive and both evolved nearly at the same time on 4-26-2014. In contrast, the young Flareon Haze is someone he is very protective over. Some friend competition is happening between him and the Cyndaquil Grady. Outside of his team, the Charizard also admires Riku's Charizard Flare and is extremely pleased that he's now a little closer to becoming that kind of Pokemon."

Everyone else is met with disdain and she dismisses them as nuisances who should be ignored. Info: Kuria is different from the other Eevees Chihiro has bred in that he knew exactly what he wanted to be just a few weeks after he hatched. Chihiro wanted to give him plenty of time to make sure he knew he was making the right decision, but he seemed eager to evolve. One stone later and Kuria evolved into Glaceon. He seems very pleased with this form and, like most of Chihiro’s parent-child Pokemon, has a very close relationship with his Flareon mother, Henko. Even though they are of opposing types, that doesn’t stop him from wanting to spend time with her.

He might enjoy a little trick every now and then, but he’s very careful when it comes to his trainer. He’s quickly become very close to Chihiro as a result of that, often preferring to be nearby him whenever he’s out and about.

She wears a pink bow around her neck that matches that of the Mareep Rise captured during the same time.
