[A video flickers into life on the Network, and for a moment the only thing that can be seen is the cheerful face of a Leavanny as she dutifully adjusts the Gear so it will be properly in focus. She bounces away from the screen a second later with her arms spread wide to bring attention to a rather impressive array of scarves that have been laid across Chihiro's bed. ...no, really, there are a lot of them. Like, so many that there are little stacks of them piled where the few aren't sitting on display.

...they're also sortof janky as all hell but you've probably never seen a bug more happy about anything in her entire life.

Chihiro stands next to her as she continues to gesture at the accessories, wearing one of the scarves around his neck. It's far too long for any normal human to be wearing and the patterns adorning all of them are mismatched and just a little hideous, but...they look really warm?]

It's starting to get colder recently, isn't it? It will probably be snowing very soon...and Shiruku here has been knitting scarves for most of the year. But we, um...we have more than we know what to do with right now.

[Chihiro's expression betrays that he knows how ugly they are, but that he's also trying to silently beg anyone watching to not tell her that, please do not crush her dreams oh my god]

And people have started showing up again, and I'd hate to know that they were having to travel in this cold weather without anything to keep them warm. So we're giving these away to anyone who needs one! They won't cost anything, so don't worry about that...like I said, we have a lot of them in all sorts of colors. Consider them an early Christmas present. They've all been hand knitted by Shiruku herself.

I can send them to wherever you are, or you can come get one in person if you would like, if you are in Goldenrod right now.

[Just before the feed cuts, Shiruku picks up one of the scarves and holds it up so everyone out there can see it better. It's a vibrantly purple thing, and it drags the ground. She looks very proud of it.]

I'll totally take some more of those if you and Shiruku've got spares! The new scarf you guys gave me after coming back was a total hit with my Pokemon, and now they keep fighting with each other to use it.

[As he shows on-screen, the fuzzy and warm scarf is currently wrapped around a pile of eggs. His Exeggcute made a nice blanket out of it, apparently.]

[IT'S OKAY HAGAKURE THERE'S NOT MUCH ROOM IN HERE ANYWAY...

Chihiro laughs softly at the sight, covering his mouth with one hand as he nods.]

You can have as many of them as you would like, Hagakure-kun. I'm glad that your Pokemon like them!

Awesome! We're not gonna decimate your stock, promise.

[As he looks at Tomago though, he gets an idea...]

Hey...has Shiruku actually tried making a blanket before? I know it's a huge thing to crank out, but I bet those would go over really well too. I know we'd never have to worry about being freezing during the winter!

A blanket?

[He echoes, glancing back at the scarves that the Leavanny is sifting through. They're all pretty long...]

She hasn't, but I'm sure she wouldn't be against trying. It wouldn't be much different from making a scarf, I would think...it would just take more time.

[And Lord knows she's made enough scarves, so what difference would a few large blankets make?]

If she ever wants to test it sometime, I'd be cool with funding the supplies.

[Because if the blanket business takes off, he'd probably get some credit, right?

...Okay that's totally not his line of thought here. Or is it?]

[It seems that Shiruku has gotten wind of their conversation, seeing how she's peering intently over Chihiro's shoulder at the screen now. She looks rather interested in the proposition.]

I do have a lot of money thanks to Rich and Alice if she did want to do this- [And it's looking like she does.] -but I wouldn't turn down help, either. I'm sure she would end up giving you the first blanket she made if it came down to that.

[Ahhh, that's right- he forgot about those cats... But he won't be outdone by them!! They're not the ones who get to use the best blanket ever anyway!!

Also, he gives a polite wave at Shiruku upon noticing her.]

Ohhh yeah, don't you worry about using your money on that- I'll help all the way! I'm not gonna lie, I'm excited to see how it turns out if she goes for it.

[The bug taps her claws together with an eager nod and a soft cry of "Leavanny!"]

Eheh...well, I guess that settles it, then. Shiruku likes having projects to work on, and it would be a good change of pace from all the scarves she made.

[MISSION: COMPLETE. Hagakure pumps his fist for good measure and to show some more support for Shiruku's cause.]

Heeeck yeah! Thanks a ton, Shiruku. I think it's gonna be the best blanket ever!

[With that done...]

So yeah, with the scarves too, I guess I'll stop by in a little bit to see what's left. I bet they're just flyin' off the shelves though- or bed, I guess!

[IT'S A BIT SURPRISING, CONSIDERING. But Hagakure is right, they're...actually pretty popular, oddly enough.]

We'll be here most of the day. I'm going to stop by Honeyed Soul to deliver some scarves, but that won't be until later. Come by any time you would like!

Got it! And ohhh man, you better be careful when you stop by there- it's super hard to just visit without being tempted to buy like a million candies and chocolates.

[Obviously, he's speaking from experience here...]

You should totally say hi to Botan-chi for me! Is she the one getting them?

I'll do that! But they're for Naoya-san and his Pokemon, actually. ...well, his Gardevoir Alice asked that we bring them some, anyway.
