Nov. 11th, 2015 10:12 pm[A video flickers into life on the Network, and for a moment the only thing that can be seen is the cheerful face of a Leavanny as she dutifully adjusts the Gear so it will be properly in focus. She bounces away from the screen a second later with her arms spread wide to bring attention to a rather impressive array of scarves that have been laid across Chihiro's bed. ...no, really, there are a lot of them. Like, so many that there are little stacks of them piled where the few aren't sitting on display.
...they're also sortof janky as all hell but you've probably never seen a bug more happy about anything in her entire life.
Chihiro stands next to her as she continues to gesture at the accessories, wearing one of the scarves around his neck. It's far too long for any normal human to be wearing and the patterns adorning all of them are mismatched and just a little hideous, but...they look really warm?]
It's starting to get colder recently, isn't it? It will probably be snowing very soon...and Shiruku here has been knitting scarves for most of the year. But we, um...we have more than we know what to do with right now.

Consider them an early Christmas present. They've all been hand knitted by Shiruku herself.

Oct. 3rd, 2015 04:09 pm[It's been a little while since Chihiro has posted anything to the Network. Between traveling and swarms and crazy weather, things have been understandably busy. In any case, now that they've stopped in Ecruteak he's finally gotten a chance to check on something that's been left in his PC...
Chihiro can be seen sitting near the head of a hotel bed with his hands resting loosely in his lap. It's been pretty chilly outside lately now that the weather has caught up with that freak snowstorm in August, so he's wearing a thick Pancham hoodie, the front of which seems to be...shivering?
...at least until Chihiro pulls his hands back and a little head with two red, rabbit-like ears springing out into view appears, sniffing a little at the air as if wondering where the warmth had gone. But more than that, the poor little thing looks very sad, as evident by the way he tries to bury his face in Chihiro's hoodie again with a squeaking sigh.]
This little guy showed up in my PC a few weeks ago...he belonged to Atsuro-kun.
[Chihiro gently pets the top of the Plusle's head with a small sigh.]
I'm sure he misses his trainer very much...it seems like this isn't the first time he's had a trainer go home. It's so sad to think about, but he won't be alone with me, at least...
I've been reading some information about Plusle, and it seems like they are happier when they are with a partner. And Kodama here does seem to be lonely...
Does anyone know where Minun usually live? I was thinking maybe I could catch one to help keep him company.

Apr. 11th, 2015 02:43 pm[On screen, a shiny Altaria can be seen nesting in the tall grass of what looks like the park in Goldenrod with a cluster of small eggs nestled close to his fluffy wings. It seems that Monet is more of the fatherly sort than Chihiro had first anticipated...and nearby, a Flareon lies stretched out to soak up the rays of the sun while simultaneously guarding a couple of eggs of her own.
Chihiro sits in the grass among them with his legs crossed and a shiny Dedenne perched cheerfully on his shoulder.]
Good morning! It is a nice morning, isn't it? The sun is shining and it isn't raining at all...so I thought it would be nice to spend some time outdoors while the weather is still nice like this.
My Pokemon also had some eggs this morning, if anyone might be interested in purchasing one. I would be more than happy to take trades instead, if you would like...and as always, if you have not been here for very long, I wouldn't mind letting you have one for free so long as you are giving it a good home.
If you want, you may come and pick up the eggs in person. I'm at the park right now, so I wouldn't mind it if you stopped by. Otherwise, I can just send the eggs off where they are needed as soon as I get back home.

[Should anyone decide to come to the park they'll find Chihiro sitting in the same place as before. It's hot out, and he isn't wearing his usual clothing but instead a thin, white shirt with shorts and suspenders and it's cute as heck. Not only is he sitting with the proud parents of the eggs, but he's also got some of his other Pokemon out playing today. Every now and then he tosses a small rubber ball into the field to have it be chased by his Garchomp, who honestly sees nothing wrong with playing fetch like the giant landshark puppy that he is.]

The PokéGear has a lot of useful functions. Some of them are pretty standard, like the Pokédex, Map, or Radio, and most of us use the PokéGear connect to speak to the Network like I am doing right now. And of course you can play games or listen to music on it, too.
The Gear is useful for both trainers and breeders when it comes to having ready information on Pokémon, but I think most of us do tend to use it mostly for communication purposes. But that's why I wanted to ask...
Are there any sorts of applications that you think might be useful additions to the PokéGear? Something that could be helpful for you as a trainer, or breeder...or possibly just something you would like for recreational purposes, maybe.

No joke, there are eggs. Everywhere. They are resting on every available surface that is soft and/or isn't the floor, most of them taking up space on Chihiro's bed. May God have mercy on those living in the Dangan House, but he has been making pains to be as least intrusive with all of this as possible, at least.]
It's only a few days until Christmas, right? I've been working on a big breeding project this month, so I have a lot of eggs to give away.
They are all going to be free, so don't worry about paying me anything! Consider it an early Christmas present.
[He offers the camera a warm smile, then continues.]
Just make sure to give them good homes, okay?

Nov. 8th, 2014 04:03 pm[It's around midday, and a shaky video suddenly appears on the Network. At first it's pretty blurry and staticy, as if the Gear itself is malfunctioning a bit, before Chihiro finally comes into focus. He's standing...no, he's crouching behind what looks like a desk not too far from a wall of televisions, and tucked behind his ankles is a Flareon whose fur is glowing softly. It looks like he's in a store of some kind.]
Does anyone have any suggestions for catching a Pokemon that is, um...very fast?
[Chihiro whispers, glancing up when something falls off of a shelf offscreen and clatters to the floor. His Flareon growls softly, peering around the edge of the counter as Chihiro turns his attention back to the screen.]
I haven't caught many Pokemon myself, since I breed them mostly...and this one won't-
[All of a sudden the feed cuts.
For a while- like, five minutes or more- there's no further activity on the Network. Then, as abruptly as the first one appeared, a second one comes, this time with Chihiro sitting on the floor instead of crouching, his Flareon in his lap and both of them looking rather frazzled.]
A-actually, I think I maybe should jus-
[Before he finishes the TV screens flash rapidly behind him, and the set nearest him seems to suddenly change appearance, a cheerful giggling sounding before all of the lights turn off in the store. After that, the feed cuts again.]

Have...have any of you ever seen this many of the same type of Pokemon in one area before? These little guys are all over Goldenrod right now...
[Chihiro has to raise his voice slightly over the din as he turns the Gear back around to face himself, grinning as one of the goats comes up to his side, pushing his nose into his hand. He runs his hand over the top of its head, stopping to scratch behind the ears.]
I have quite a few with me right now...I'm not sure if they are around in other areas, but there are definitely a lot here.
[Actually, it looks like he's...close to becoming a bit overwhelmed with goats here, if he's not careful. It's hard to count how many are in the background there, but it's more than just a couple.

Jul. 5th, 2014 09:24 pm[A recent conversation with Shaun- a bit of an unrelated one to what's on his mind, it was about sewing of all things- has got Chihiro thinking as he works on his PokeGear tonight, reviewing some strings of code that would be totally meaningless to most that he offered to Zip to play around with. The Porygon accepted the challenge with an enthusiasm that was almost adorable, really, along with serving to keep him busy for the past month.
His newly evolved Leavanny has been busy too, mostly interested in learning how to make clothing. Actual clothing that her trainer could wear. Naturally nothing had particularly been produced that would be suitable for a Pokemon to wear, much less a person, but nevertheless Chihiro is happy to be her model whenever she's gotten something done that she wants him to try on. Thank goodness for locks on doors, that's all he can say.
She'd been sticking to easy things, but she wanted to make full outfits. Most notable was her tendency to try to shape out patterns in spools of fabric that Chihiro bought for her for both skirts and pants for him to choose between. He always let her make the final decision, always. Chihiro's Pokemons' happiness always came first, it seemed.
Somehow, all of this culminates in a text to the network:]
Have you done anything recently that you could say you were particularly proud of? Maybe some sort of achievement or milestone that you have been trying to reach for a long time. Perhaps something you've been working to get over, and finally managed to overcome it.
You may respond anonymously if you would like...I am just curious to hear what you all have to say.
[Perhaps others have had more luck in that area than he has.]

Chihiro stands in the center of his bedroom facing the camera with three eggs cradled in his arms of different colors. He seems to be alright, though rather flustered...and it's easy to see why. A Flareon lies on the bed next to a Persian with several eggs between them. Across the room, a Meganium has the edge of a towel in her mouth, fussing over getting it draped over one of the eggs.
Standing next to Chihiro is a Leavanny with an egg held carefully in her arms, watching the screen with a happy smile. All in all, if someone cares to count the eggs filling the room, they will find twenty in all.]

My Porygon likes to talk to people, particularly new arrivals, it looks like.... I've given him a project to work on so he shouldn't be bothering anyone else for a while.

Gooon!” The feed shudders a bit, the surroundings shifting until whoever is on the other side finally gets their PokéGear angled toward themselves. Coming into view is what appears to be a young girl, and from the way their voice sounds in addition there’s nothing that could lead anyone to believe otherwise. This is in fact not the case, and rather she is a he. Still, the outfit he’s currently wearing seems to be made specifically for girls...]
Hello. ..Um. ...
[The child on the other end hesitates, pausing before trying to start again.]
My name... is Chihiro Fujisaki. I’m…not sure where I am...or what is going on, exactly.
[There’s a pause as the feed shifts once again, Chihiro moving to carefully sit in the grass instead of standing. The second he does a Zigzagoon climbs into his lap, nudging his head fondly against the underside of the boy's chin. He's not entirely sure what to do, obviously slightly unsure of the furry creature in his lap, but he seems friendly at least. After a pause he gently pets the Pokémon who continues to sit happily in his lap. Chihiro has arrived slightly overwhelmed by...well, everything, so it’s a moment before he’s able to continue.]
Or...how I got here, but.... Naegi-kun, Oowada-kun, Ishimaru-kun...um...Asahina-san...
[He quickly prattles off all the names of his classmates that he can remember off-hand, before realizing that a huge list of names won’t probably mean much if they...aren’t actually around. That thought strikes him hard for a moment before he takes a breath and continues, his grip on the ‘Gear tightening.]
...and everyone else. If any of you are here, from Hope’s Peak, please answer. Something...something must have happened. I mean, I’m outside again...and not...
[Chihiro seems unsure of what else to say, whatever he was saying dying on his tongue with his voice wavering slightly towards the end, so he dips his head a bit before cutting the feed.]
