[Chihiro doesn't answer, instead focusing his attention on getting Komasan standing again before worrying about anything else. It's not that he's saying he's not okay, it's just that...

...when he looks over at Komasan, the only thing he can think about is kissing him again.]

...I'm...going to go upstairs. Y-you...you can come with me, if you would like...

[He says it so quietly that it could almost be inaudible if Komasan weren't right there next to him.]

[O...kay, that worries him a great deal. But Komasan can understand where it's coming from, being a victim of countless Fridays himself.]

Of course I'm gonna come, I came here just to see you, zura.

[As much as he'd love to stay downstairs by himself in a house that isn't even his. Although he's touched Chihiro trusts him not to break all his things.]

I can help you get through this, zura...

[He places a hand on Chihiro's shoulder, just to prove it, an attempt to comfort him.]

[Of course Komasan doesn't realize it, but being so nice and helpful and...well, close to Chihiro right now isn't helping him all that much. He fights against the urge to get closer while trying not to pull away at the same time, giving a curt little not before quickly heading toward the stairs.

This was probably going to get worse before it got better.]

[Chihiro not saying anything at all is more worrying than Chihiro speaking so softly he can barely be heard. It's rough, though, he gets that, but he wants to be there for him. Just like how he was always there for him...]

[At the same time, you can't force your help on someone. As clueless as Komasan tends to be, even he can tell Chihiro's acting uncomfortable.]

N-no! No, it isn't that. I just...

[Chihiro hesitates with his hand on the banister, his cheeks still painfully red.]

I don't want to...make you uncomfortable, that's all.

Chihiro...

[Once again he tries to comfort him, his hand squeezing his shoulder just a little.]

You don't make me uncomfortable, zura.

[Only his feelings for him make him uncomfortable. He only fainted just a few seconds ago is all.]

We can go into your room, and then you can show me all the programs you worked on today! That'll help take your mind off of this, right, zura?

[Well...that does sound like an appealing idea to him right now. And maybe Komasan is right. Maybe it will get his mind off of things, as well as distract him enough so he won't want to do...other things.]

I suppose...if you're sure you don't mind.

[It's his idea, after all. Ao raises an arm into the air and smiles, as if to help push the idea along. SHE BELIEVES IN YOU, CHIHIRO!]

Ahah...it's a little too late for that, Komasan-chan...

[He does appreciate the support, though, and it makes him feel a bit better as he continues leading the way upstairs. He just has to NOT think about it. Not think about Komasan, or kissing him...yeah, that's exactly what he shouldn't be thinking about right now.

I...I guess Friday isn't bothering you this time.

[Huh...now that he mentions it...]

[Maybe it's finally done bullying him! ...At the cost of Chihiro.

It's strange...I wasn't feeling any different either.

[At least...not until Komasan walked in. That was when this urge consumed him and, well. They both saw what happened.

He stops when they reach the door to his bedroom, pulling it open so Komasan and Ao can walk in ahead of him.]

There's more than one cafe, zura?

[Amazing, do you think the cafe owners get into horrible turf wars? Or maybe they're all friends. Maybe there's some kind of cafe club he isn't aware of, one where owners from across the world gather once a year and talk about coffee.

But enough about his dreams, eventually Komasan leads Chihiro to a small, but fancy place. One he's passed many times before. It's definitely not hidden, or anything obscure, but Komasan is convinced it's a "Big Deal"]

[Ao happily takes the lead and immediately lifts her giant frame onto the bed. She's, like, 90% sure Chihiro won't mind.

Komasan follows, but not before looking back at Chihiro.]

Eh...I...I know it's hard, s-so if you ever do start to feel uncomfortable or want me to leave, I will, zura!

Of course! Goldenrod probably has more cafes than most other towns, actually...

[And if Komasan stays in Goldenrod long enough, he may get to visit most- if not all- too.

When Komasan brings them to their destination, Chihiro can't help but be pleasantly surprised. He hasn't had reason to visit cafes this nice before on his own, so it's a little exciting to be able to go to one now. Though, he wonders if Komasan has an idea as to how expensive the place might be...oh well, it probably won't be that bad.]

Oh, how nice...I haven't been to this one before.

Mm...thank you. I'll let you know, don't worry.

[Things seem to be stable, at least for the time being. Maybe he just needed that one kiss to get things out of his system, but he knows that's wishful thinking. He takes a deep breath before walking into the room himself, waiting for Henko to slip in before shutting the door.

Chihiro moves to take a seat in the chair by his desk, allowing Ao and Komasan to commandeer his bed at their leisure.]

I'd...much rather you be here right now.

That's good, I'd rather be here too, zura.

[Komasan takes a seat on the bed and immediately flops backwards, lying down and taking up what space Ao hasn't already. He is perfectly okay with claiming the bed as his own for now, with how often he's here, can you really blame him for feeling so comfortable?]

I don't think Ao-chan's ever seen a computer before, maybe she'll understand it better than I can, zura.

[The Nidorina's ears perk up at that, as she watches Chihiro carefully. She honestly has no idea what these people are doing, but she's willing to give it a shot.]

[Well that deserves a double-take.]

A-Are you serious, I picked a new one, zura?!

[Thank you whatever luck youkai is on his side. Probably Noko, he's gonna say it's Noko. The flower she gave him must of been a good luck charm of some kind. Such a good snake, she'll be getting so many puffs after this.

But until then, Komasan can't control himself and eagerly hurries Chihiro inside so they can experience this new ...experience together. And right away, he can't help but marvel over the interior. It's...that basic cafe look, but maybe today just made it look a pinch more special than it would've if he went alone.]

Monge~!

[Chihiro smiles, reaching over to pick up his laptop from the desk to prop it up in his lap. He's thankful that today he remembered to put John the Rotom in the PC, or else he would be causing mischief and trying to get Komasan and Ao's attention by any means necessary...including messing a little with Chihiro's laptop, but not enough to harm any files.]

Once you learn how to use them, computers can be very useful. The PCs in Pokemon Centers that you use to store Pokemon are similar, in ways. Personal computers just have a lot more flexibility in what they can actually be used for.

Mhm!

[Komasan's eagerness is infectious. Even though the cafe really isn't too different from the standard, it's impressive all the same. Chihiro adjusts his bag on his shoulder as they enter, staying close by Komasan's side as one of the waiters leads them to an empty table.]

A lot of these cafes have certain Pokemon that they base their dishes on. I wonder which ones this one has...

[Haha, boy, living with humans has certainly made a lot of dates suddenly important. Like birthdays, Komasan didn't really care about those as much before. He can barely keep track of his own age without having to ask his brother, and even then he doesn't have an exact number. So imagine his surprise when he found out Chihiro's birthday was coming up.

Imagine his horror when he realized he didn't have a present. In his defense, he's been preparing for a trip. ...But even then, Chihiro managed to give him an egg, and he didn't even do anything to earn that. Komasan can't give him anything nearly as great, so he had to do some scouting around Ecruteak to get some ideas.

Eventually he comes back, standing in front of the hotel door much like how he used to stand in front of Chihiro's door countless times in Goldenrod. Some things never change.]

C-Chihiro? [He calls as he knocks, Shiro and Noko next to him as they wait patiently. Noko is wearing some sort of elaborate outfit, and there's a very good reason for that.] Do...do you wanna go out for your birthday, zura?

[/smooth]

[In all honesty, Chihiro knew his birthday was coming, but he just hadn't really made much of a big deal about it. He never did with birthdays, even though the past couple involved pretty elaborate parties and get togethers with friends and classmates. This year it would be a bit different. A little quieter for a multitude of reasons, but Chihiro wasn't going to let it bother him, not when he was enjoying a trip with Komasan.

Even so, when he hears Komasan calling from the door, he can't help but smile to himself. Komasan could just come in...they're sharing the room, after all.

He walks over and pulls the door open.]

If you would like to, I-

[...he pauses, looking down when he notices Noko. How can't he notice Noko? And oh my god it's cute]

[Probably to the relief of everyone in this hotel, Komasan doesn't scream when the door opens. Most likely because this is his room too, but also because he's fairly certain there weren't any Garchomps around when he left. Garchomps...Garchomps are terrifying.

He does, however, notice the way Chihiro stares at his Dunsparce (which is much less terrifying than a Garchomp) and gives his little Pokemon a nod.]

Give him the invitation, zura.

[Noko then proceeds to sit up like she normally does when she performs a trick, but not before digging into her itty bitty snake kimono, pulling out a tiny envelope and holding it in her mouth. She then begins to...twirl her way over to Chihiro, bouncing slightly as she does so, as if she were dancing. This was practiced, they actually worked on a tiny snake dance to hand over a piece of paper.

Which Noko holds up for Chihiro once she's close enough. Go on, take it. It's only covered in a little spit.]

Ah, an invitation...?

[Chihiro watches as Noko does her thing, and it's honestly more adorable than a little fat snake has any right to be. She just dances all the way over to him, and by the time she makes it over and he takes the paper carefully from her, he's giggling under his breath.]

Thank you, Noko-chan.

[She'll even get a little pat atop the head before he opens it. Let's see what this says...]

[Inside Chihiro will find a brochure for the dance theater, pretty much the staple of Ecruteak.]

We stopped by earlier and they made that dress for Noko-chan, zura.

[Which...probably wasn't very hard since all they had to do is throw cloth over a snake. Still, it was a nice gesture.]

I-I thought...maybe you'd like to watch the show they're performing today, zura...

[They have classes and junk too, but Komasan isn't sure how much Chihiro is into this stuff.]

[The dance theater, among other things, is one of the big places in Ecruteak that Chihiro likes to visit whenever he comes to town. They're always showing new and different things, so it never gets old. He thought he recognized the dress that Noko was wearing.

The smile that breaks onto Chihiro's face is telling of how he receives the gift, holding the invitation close to his chest.]

I would love to, Komasan-chan! Thank you so much, all of you.
