Good morning!

[The greeting precedes the video by just a hair as Chihiro's bedroom swings into view and dear sweet gracious Lord there are eggs everywhere.

No joke, there are eggs. Everywhere. They are resting on every available surface that is soft and/or isn't the floor, most of them taking up space on Chihiro's bed. May God have mercy on those living in the Dangan House, but he has been making pains to be as least intrusive with all of this as possible, at least.]

It's only a few days until Christmas, right? I've been working on a big breeding project this month, so I have a lot of eggs to give away.

They are all going to be free, so don't worry about paying me anything! Consider it an early Christmas present.

[He offers the camera a warm smile, then continues.]

Just make sure to give them good homes, okay?

Ah, no, I just got back. I spent a couple of days in Goldenrod just to get away from everything. So they haven't been in my way, no! You need any help with them?

Okay. As long as they aren't in the way and aren't on the floor, I think they'll be fine.

[He hasn't had any unexpected hatching incidents yet, but that's mostly because he's careful not to move them around too much.]

Hmm...I'm going to send a few to the PC soon...do you think you could bring the eggs from the den in here once I've done that? My Leavanny will help you!

Yeah, sure, no problem! I'll be careful with 'em, of course.

[But it's good that he can help out!]

[At that Chihiro nods, carefully picking his way over to the bed so he can scoop up a few of the spoken for eggs, adjusting them in his arms before continuing.]

By the way...how have you been, lately? Since you said you just got back, and all.

I've been feeling a lot better, actually. Earlier this year I was kind of a mess. I'd have good days and I'd have really shitty days, but I think things are gonna be alright now.

[Part of it was traveling with Ishimaru, but most of it was being able to talk to Chihiro again.]

What about you? How've you been?

I'm glad to hear that!

[And he is, really. He wants all of his friends to be happy, here, but perhaps Mondo most of all.]

I've been doing well, myself. Maka invited me to travel to Ecruteak with her and Kirikou-kun next month...so I think I'm going to do that.

But I'm happy to be here for the holidays, at the moment.

That sounds like fun! I'm sure you'll have a great time!

[He pauses as he crosses the room carefully with the eggs in tow. Then he adds in a bit of a quieter voice.]

I might even...try to challenge the gym, there.

Oh yeah? That'd probably be a good challenge. The Gym Leader there has Ghost-types, so Dark-types are a good bet.

[It's definitely a good idea for Chihiro to challenge the Gym Leader! Who knows, maybe he'll be more confident if he wins!]

Ooh...so I should probably focus on training my Mightyena then...right?

Yeah, that'd be a good bet! I can probably breed one of mine if you need another Dark-type. Ghost is good against Psychics, but I think the Gym Leader has a Gengar...? If you've got something with a Psychic-type move but isn't a Psychic-type, that might be useful too.

[Chihiro looks up in thought, shifting from one foot to the other.]

Hmm...well, my Porygon knows a few Psychic type moves. My Mightyena are a bit lower leveled compared to him, though...so I might need to train a little more first.

I'm sure you can do some training while you're traveling. I'm sure you'll manage though! Ghost-types can't be hit by Normal or Fighting-type moves but as long as you keep that in mind and hit with your strongest moves, you should be fine!

...Oh! Speaking of which, when I first met Chia, I took interest in her Musharna; she said they weren't very common, and that she herself didn't know much about breeding to actually breed one for me. ...Um, seeing that you have a few, do you think I could have an egg for it?

Of course you can, Juniper-san. I know it would be going to a wonderful home if you took one. These eggs were actually bred from her Musharna, along with one that is in my care.

I have...quite a few Skiddo here, actually. Most of them live in the barn in the backyard, but I think they would very much like to get the chance to travel with a trainer, if they could.

You know how when we arrive, we're given a pokemon to start our journey? I think it would be a great idea to also give each new trainer something they can use to hop over ledges!

Trying to climb one of those things was the very first mistake I made in this place and I wouldn't wish it on anyone.
