There is something I have been thinking about for a while, so I wanted to get some opinions from others about it.

The PokéGear has a lot of useful functions. Some of them are pretty standard, like the Pokédex, Map, or Radio, and most of us use the PokéGear connect to speak to the Network like I am doing right now. And of course you can play games or listen to music on it, too.

The Gear is useful for both trainers and breeders when it comes to having ready information on Pokémon, but I think most of us do tend to use it mostly for communication purposes. But that's why I wanted to ask...

Are there any sorts of applications that you think might be useful additions to the PokéGear? Something that could be helpful for you as a trainer, or breeder...or possibly just something you would like for recreational purposes, maybe.

Thank you! I should be able to get started on something soon! I had been meaning to sooner, but I got interested in breeding...and a little distracted.

But as soon as I can get a laptop to work on, I can. The Gear works well for writing codes, but sooner or later I'll need something more reliable to save my work on.

If they do, they would be at the appliance store, I think? I didn't actually get a chance to look while I was there last.

I think I will! I'm not worried about how much it will cost, at least...I have Togami-kun's Persians, and they have given me more money than I know what to do with, honestly...

i mean after awhile you end up with more money than you know what to do with anyway
but its definitely good that youll be able to get whichever one you want!

Mhm! I'll be able to get one with enough processing power to make...well, anything I want.

Once I've done some work on a few applications, I might even start working on rebuilding my AI scripts again.

huh!! what about a way to watch tv shows on these things?? i mean i only see tvs when i'm in like goldenrod or something and i think these things COULD play them but i'm never really getting the actual story.

it's just one cool episode!! and then it cliffhangers and goes to a different show!! i might be on the road next week... how am i supposed to know how it ends!?!?!

Ah...that would be useful to have, wouldn't it? Since the Gears can already broadcast live video without a problem, I don't think it would be very hard to design an application that could stream Television as well.

I wouldn't be surprised if they do. They have been making a lot of changes to the Pokedex lately anyway, since all of those new Pokemon arrived in Johto.

It's basically the same, yes! It wouldn't take a whole lot of modifying to get the signal rerouted to the Gears.
