[It's been a little while since Chihiro has posted anything to the Network. Between traveling and swarms and crazy weather, things have been understandably busy. In any case, now that they've stopped in Ecruteak he's finally gotten a chance to check on something that's been left in his PC...

Chihiro can be seen sitting near the head of a hotel bed with his hands resting loosely in his lap. It's been pretty chilly outside lately now that the weather has caught up with that freak snowstorm in August, so he's wearing a thick Pancham hoodie, the front of which seems to be...shivering?

...at least until Chihiro pulls his hands back and a little head with two red, rabbit-like ears springing out into view appears, sniffing a little at the air as if wondering where the warmth had gone. But more than that, the poor little thing looks very sad, as evident by the way he tries to bury his face in Chihiro's hoodie again with a squeaking sigh.]

This little guy showed up in my PC a few weeks ago...he belonged to Atsuro-kun.

[Chihiro gently pets the top of the Plusle's head with a small sigh.]

I'm sure he misses his trainer very much...it seems like this isn't the first time he's had a trainer go home. It's so sad to think about, but he won't be alone with me, at least...

I've been reading some information about Plusle, and it seems like they are happier when they are with a partner. And Kodama here does seem to be lonely...

Does anyone know where Minun usually live? I was thinking maybe I could catch one to help keep him company.

It's never less of a shock when it happens, but...there really isn't much we can do. It doesn't do to worry about it too much.

And sometimes, they do come back. That's something to hope for.

It could very well be. Especially if they have also chosen to spend the season slumbering.

Maybe it won't snow too much this year. We already had so much snow in August, though, so now I'm not so sure.

Even my All Seeing Eye refuses to reveal to me its mysteries, so even I cannot begin to fathom what could happen.

[It's annoying. His magic is already a bunch of nonsense, but it's like the weather knows and makes it seem like an even bigger bunch of nonsense.]

I guess we'll just have to hope for the best then, won't we? Even if it snows a lot, maybe we'll have a short winter this year.

[And maybe it won't snow in the summertime, either.]

[And now he's mumbling into the scarf again.]

Yes, that would be nice.

[It'd be nice if the weather was nice and did what it's supposed to instead of being completely weird.]

[IT WOULD...but that's probably hoping for too much, honestly.]

Anyway...how have you been, lately? Have you started any new breeding projects?

I have considered it, but the stars have yet to properly align.

It's been a while since I've bred anything myself...I might try to breed some eggs for Christmas again this year.

Will you? Perhaps I should try to offer some of my own, in order to see how my creatures compare against your offerings.

That would be nice! I'm not entirely sure what I will breed yet, though. Maybe some I haven't seen offered in a while.

Yeah, and I haven't seen them anywhere in Johto. You'll have to find some other way to cheer him up, I guess.

Probably? It wouldn't surprise me. But you can feed them regular parfait, too.

[Who knows if the Plusle will actually want to eat it, but most Pokemon- when presented with regular people food- never seem to turn it down.

Besides, it's not like he isn't well versed with Pokemon that cannot stop eating ever.]

That's a very good idea, actually! With Rich and Alice around, I don't really need the extra money...it would be something nice to do for people around Christmas time, don't you think?
