[It's been a little while since Chihiro has posted anything to the Network. Between traveling and swarms and crazy weather, things have been understandably busy. In any case, now that they've stopped in Ecruteak he's finally gotten a chance to check on something that's been left in his PC...

Chihiro can be seen sitting near the head of a hotel bed with his hands resting loosely in his lap. It's been pretty chilly outside lately now that the weather has caught up with that freak snowstorm in August, so he's wearing a thick Pancham hoodie, the front of which seems to be...shivering?

...at least until Chihiro pulls his hands back and a little head with two red, rabbit-like ears springing out into view appears, sniffing a little at the air as if wondering where the warmth had gone. But more than that, the poor little thing looks very sad, as evident by the way he tries to bury his face in Chihiro's hoodie again with a squeaking sigh.]

This little guy showed up in my PC a few weeks ago...he belonged to Atsuro-kun.

[Chihiro gently pets the top of the Plusle's head with a small sigh.]

I'm sure he misses his trainer very much...it seems like this isn't the first time he's had a trainer go home. It's so sad to think about, but he won't be alone with me, at least...

I've been reading some information about Plusle, and it seems like they are happier when they are with a partner. And Kodama here does seem to be lonely...

Does anyone know where Minun usually live? I was thinking maybe I could catch one to help keep him company.

It's not that. I'm just...not very good. My father would cook sometimes, but we ate out a lot, too.

Only for special occasions. My father was always very busy, you see, so eating takeout was always easier.

I think they mostly live around Kanto? I live there, so if you're stuck in Johto, I could always try catching one once I head back in a few weeks.

Oh, could you really? That would be very kind of you. I wouldn't mind breeding you something in return, if you would like.

Mhm! That, and it is always nice to offer Pokemon that most people might not have the chance to capture in the wild, otherwise.

I'm sure we can arrange something. I'm actually not sure what I want to do with my team, I mean, I've kind of accumulated...things?

What do you train?

[Well, accumulating things is the name of the game.]

What do I train? Quite a lot of things, really...is there something particular you can think of that you might be looking for? I have normal, dragon, grass, fire...almost a Pokemon from each type, really.

[He's still thinking of Hiram, sadly, but that at least sounds interesting.]

Mhm. Like Dragonair and Garchomp. Are you interested in either of those?

That's one of the best things about being a breeder, I think. You always meet trainers who are encountering the Pokemon that you breed for the first time.

Do you want me to show you? I have Horu with me right now, actually.

[He has Horu with him a lot of the time when he's traveling, mostly because he knows he'll be able to protect him, should something happen.]

[He asks, looking down at the Plusle as he peeks his head out of his hoodie again. He seems curious about it, if nothing else...and he does like ice cream.]

I mean, I'm not really sure what they were even going for with the name? Other than entirely too many teeth, but like, lots of Pokemon have teeth that are far too numerous.

[Well, Cecil won't have to wait for very long to get his answer. It takes Chihiro a moment to find the right Pokeball in his bag, but once he has he releases the Pokemon inside with a flash of bright light.

It's a good thing that Kodama fell asleep, or else he might be startled by the sudden appearance of a very large land shark in the hotel room, one who carefully steps over to the bedside so he can lean his head down next to Chihiro's, nudging his cheek with a fond croon.]

You've been here longer than me, right? Have people come back and reclaimed their Pokemon?

[Chihiro nods, returning Banjou's smile.]

They have. It's why I try to take care of those that get left to me as best I can, just in case.

[He can't imagine coming back to even a few of his Pokemon gone...but he knows that nobody ever usually gets all of their Pokemon back if they ever go home.]

[It's kind of a sad prospect, but at least it means if people come back, some of their Pokemon can be returned to them.]

That's a good attitude to have.

If I ever vanished, I'd want to know my Pokemon were well taken care of, you know?
