[Oh! It's Rin. Chihiro's glad to hear from his friend again, though he...is still a bit nervous about that game. Still, a promise is a promise. He doesn't take long to call back.]

Ah, hello, Okumura-san! That sounds like fun. I can head over there whenever you are ready, if you would like.

[He does sound a little nervous, but he can't help it. Maybe it won't be so bad...?]

[HE PICKS UP THE PHONE SO FAST HE DROPS IT TO THE GROUND. There is an pretty loud swear (courtesy of Rin) and - okay, that sounded like a piece of the gear was knocked out of place. But that's not possible, right? Rin fumbles with it for a moment longer before bustling into the kitchen, right to the pantry.]

Hi! You can come over now, I don't mind.

[Gee, Chihiro didn't have to sound so nervous... Rin considers the bag of fruit snacks before reaching for the chips instead.] The monsters aren't gonna come outta the screen y'know.

Mm? O-oh...yes, of course. It's just a game, after all.

[He'll just...have to keep telling himself that...]

I'll be there in a little while.

[And with that he hangs up, putting his Gear away in his bag. Isamu is definitely coming along with him for this...he's the perfect size to hang on to if he gets too scared, and Zip is always in his Gear by default anyway.

He leaves the house and heads for the dojo with his Linoone trotting at his heels, hesitating for only a moment when he gets there before knocking on the door.]

[Even though he fully expected the knock on the door, Rin was still startled to hear it. He double checked the table for snacks. Did he have enough chips? Well, yeah, that sure was the whole bag in a bowl. Did he get the right soda? (Wait, was it even possible to get the wrong soda?)

Poochy, T-Bone, and Brownie rush towards the door ahead of Rin, ready to greet Chihiro and his Linoone. They barked and pawed at the door, barely giving Rin any room to get to it himself.]

Gimme a sec, Chihiro! [Rin cradled Poochy under one arm and managed to jiggle the door knob with his elbow. Growlithe pushed the door open the rest of the way and made a beeline for Chihiro. Eevee huddled behind Rin at the sight of Isamu. Poochy stared and looked down at them all from her throne.]

Hey! Sorry about T-Bone! He's like that with everybody. [Rin reaches over to tug T-Bone back to his side, to give Chihiro some much needed breathing room.]

Oh-!

[T-Bone's sudden appearance is a bit surprising, but not unfamiliar. He's used to nearly being bowled over by a hoard of Eevees on a regular basis, so this isn't too new. Isamu stays behind Chihiro, watching the cluster of other Pokemon curiously as his trainer walks on inside.]

It's alright! I'm used to it, don't worry. Thank you for inviting me over.

Anytime! I'm glad you didn't chicken out. You seemed way too scared of a little video game, even now.

[Rin walks on ahead of him and places Poochy next to a series of bowls and plates laden with different types of Pokemon food. He turns back to Chihiro with a bright smile.]

So we got food in case we get hungry - and we got plenty for our guys if they want any. Do we need anything else before we start?

You think so...?

[He asks as he follows Rin inside, watching Isamu as he excitedly lopes over to the bowls of Pokemon food without having to be told. If there's food, he's definitely going to be there.

Then, Chihiro looks over at Rin, smoothing out the wrinkles on his sleeves just to give his hands something to do.]

Oh no, this is fine, I think. You seem very prepared already.

Sorta? You talk about technology and stuff like Atsuro. I figured you'd like games since it's about the same techno-gizmo-code stuff, even if it was scary.

[Rin shrugs. Chihiro just didn't seem like the kind of person who'd let a "scary game" stop him from figuring stuff out.

Rin looks over to the pokemon for a moment, just to make sure Poochy is behaving herself. So far she's only spares Isamu a glance before quietly joining him. T-Bone hovers around Rin, bouncing his attention between Rin and his guest.]

But since we're ready, we're going in for the long-haul. Got it, Chihiro? That means no breaks, not until we beat the whole thing!

[The Linoone seems perfectly fine with just sitting there and eating for as long as he's allowed, but at least he has enough tact to not try and eat from all of the bowls at once.

Chihiro carefully puts his bag in a nearby chair before turning his attention back to Rin.]

Oh, um...o-okay! I'll do my best.

[...how many nights did Maka say that game had, anyway?]

Fujisaki-kun, do you have any members of the Charmander evolutionary line?

Yes, I do! When Garry-san left, he left me his Charizard and his Charmeleon.

...the Charmeleon is shiny, too, actually.

This is something of an abrupt question, I know, and I apologize for that.

I'm speaking with someone particularly interested in Charmander, but who doesn't know where to acquire one. Are you planning to breed either of those Pokemon anytime soon?

Oh, it's alright! I was planning on breeding quite a few of my Pokemon at once soon, since I haven't since December.

I wouldn't mind breeding for some Charmander eggs as well, though.

Would it be acceptable if I put that person in touch with you?

Yes, that's fine! Who should I be expecting a message from, Kirigiri-san?

I think his name is Luke. Are you familiar with him?

Luke? ...if it is the person I'm thinking of, I am. I think I spoke to him once when he first arrived. He had long red hair.

That's him. We've spoken a few times.

I see. I don't know him very well, but I wouldn't mind breeding some Charmander for him if he wants me to.

If it's likely to produce a high volume of eggs, I can adopt one as well. They're an interesting species.

Okay! I hadn't considered raising them before I got Izzy and Remmie, but they are both a lot calmer than I was expecting. Remmie a little less so...but that's probably because she's still young.

All right. I'll pass along the word and let you know if Luke intends to accept the possible offer.
