[A video appears on the feed with the sound of a Pokemon crying out happily, slightly muffled and at a bit of a distance. ”Goon! Gooon!” The feed shudders a bit, the surroundings shifting until whoever is on the other side finally gets their PokéGear angled toward themselves. Coming into view is what appears to be a young girl, and from the way their voice sounds in addition there’s nothing that could lead anyone to believe otherwise. This is in fact not the case, and rather she is a he. Still, the outfit he’s currently wearing seems to be made specifically for girls...]

Hello. ..Um. ...

[The child on the other end hesitates, pausing before trying to start again.]

My name... is Chihiro Fujisaki. I’m…not sure where I am...or what is going on, exactly.

[There’s a pause as the feed shifts once again, Chihiro moving to carefully sit in the grass instead of standing. The second he does a Zigzagoon climbs into his lap, nudging his head fondly against the underside of the boy's chin. He's not entirely sure what to do, obviously slightly unsure of the furry creature in his lap, but he seems friendly at least. After a pause he gently pets the Pokémon who continues to sit happily in his lap. Chihiro has arrived slightly overwhelmed by...well, everything, so it’s a moment before he’s able to continue.]

Or...how I got here, but.... Naegi-kun, Oowada-kun, Ishimaru-kun...um...Asahina-san...

[He quickly prattles off all the names of his classmates that he can remember off-hand, before realizing that a huge list of names won’t probably mean much if they...aren’t actually around. That thought strikes him hard for a moment before he takes a breath and continues, his grip on the ‘Gear tightening.]

...and everyone else. If any of you are here, from Hope’s Peak, please answer. Something...something must have happened. I mean, I’m outside again...and not...

[Chihiro seems unsure of what else to say, whatever he was saying dying on his tongue with his voice wavering slightly towards the end, so he dips his head a bit before cutting the feed.]

[OH HEY, THIS SURE IS ANOTHER FRIEND SHE WAS NOT EXPECTING TO SEE. At least now she's had a week to process things so she's not internally screaming nearly as much as she was with Ishimaru.

But that doesn't mean she doesn't look a little like she's seeing a ghost.]

[Wait, should she still be using -chan? Is that okay? Honorifics are hard when you're not sure if you should drop them or not for the sake of someone else's secret.]

[Correct honorific or no, the fact that Chihiro doesn't know that basically everyone knows said secret at this point is still a thing, so it's better that everyone's being cautious about it anyway. The last thing he needs is to have THAT sprung on him before he can actually figure out what's going on.

Her look of shock does take him by surprise, but...well, he's rather surprised to be here too.]

Asahina-san! I was worried I...was the only one outside.

A lot of our class is here actually! Naegi, Kirigiri-chan, Ishimaru, Oowada, pretty much everyone except Sakura-chan, Fukawa-chan, Kuwata and Maizono-chan!

[Asahina's expression quickly breaks out a wide smile.] It's...really nice to see you again.

[Seeing Asahina smile like that helps calm his nerves a bit, but he doesn't smile back. In fact, there's a lengthy bit of silence where he doesn't answer, focusing on keeping the 'Gear steady.]

S-..sorry. ...It's good to see you too, Asahina-san..

[Though it's strange to say...he only saw you just a few moments ago.]

[She knows that feeling, friend.]

...This is all really overwhelming, huh? It was for me at first too. I haven't been here long at all but...it's nice. And it's safe.

[It's miles better than murder school at least.]

M-mhm.

[No arguments there.]

I-it....feels too good to be real. ...I just....don't understand.

[You'll have to bear with him Asahina, he's....reeeally trying to not just turn off the 'Gear entirely, ignore everyone, and let himself cry for a while. Of course, he's forcing himself not to, for his own sake and everyone else's. It will come- that it will- but not now.]

I know what you mean. But it's as real here as you or me!

Has anyone explained things to you yet? Or offered to come get you? Because I can borrow someone's Pokémon and rush back to New Bark to get you!

[Asahina, you've been in Goldenrod like 2 days. You don't need to be backtracking that far.]

[He wants to believe you, he really does, but...]

Y-yes, Kirigiri-san told me.

[It hasn't quite been processed yet, but he has been told.]

...And Nanami-san is...coming to get me. She'll be here tomorrow.

Okay, good. I'd probably do a terrible job of explaining thing anyway, ha ha.

[She smiles again, trying to put her anxious classmate at ease.]

Nanami-chan is really helpful, huh? If you're still looking for a place to stay tonight the people at the PokéLab are pretty good about people sleeping there. [She knows from experience.]

Mhm...Nanami-san told me I could....stay at the Pokemon Center, if I wanted.

[Either place is fine, really, as long as it's sheltered. He'd like to be somewhere with people so he's not alone, but with people who aren't going to try to strike up a conversation with him. Goodness knows he's not really up for casual conversation at the moment.]

Oh good.

[...God, why is talking to dead friends so hard?]

Um...oh! When you get to Goldenrod City, how about I take you out for donuts? I know this is all pretty jarring and donuts are always a big help for me.

[Upon hearing his name, a Slowpoke's head slowly rises next to Asahina's shoulder. Hello, friends, was he called?]

Donuts?

[He'd consider that a bit of an odd, random request...if he weren't talking to Asahina, that is. Something about that suggestion is....comforting. Maybe it's because it's a relatively normal thing to ask? ..that and he hasn't really had donuts in a while..

He smiles slightly when he sees Donut appear. Oh gosh, aren't you a cute thing.]

I...I'd like that, Asahina-san.

[Donut tilts his head, staring curiously at Chihiro before looking at Asahina and bumping his head against her jaw. Asahina grins, laying a hand on his head and giving it a rub.]

I found this really nice bakery not far from the house. They have amazing donuts! And cakes! And cream puffs! [Literally everything there is delicious, come get treats with her, Chihiro.]

Heheh....I look forward to going, then.

[With as much of a donut connoisseur as Asahina is, this place MUST be good to have her gushing about it. Then again, any donut is a good donut.]

[Always trust the girl who inhales food to let you know what's the best.]

It'll be fun! We can walk around the city too, if you want. There's a lot to see and it's been so long since I've been outside I really haven't been able to stop exploring.

I think that would be nice, too....it....has been a long time, hasn't it?
