[Chihiro had been keeping rather quiet on the Network since Prom for reasons, but recent murderschool students suddenly turning comatose had left him unsure and antsy. Not really wanting to talk to anyone particular, per-say, but just wanting to talk in general. Particularly light topics that might help alleviate the anxiety.

A lot of people here have Eevees, don't they? I wanted to ask and see what everyone's opinions are on the different forms they can potentially evolve into. It doesn't matter if yours has already evolved, or if you don't have one...

I also would like to apologize to anyone who may have received text messages in all caps from my Gear during the time I've been here. My Porygon likes to talk to people, particularly new arrivals, it looks like.... I've given him a project to work on so he shouldn't be bothering anyone else for a while.

Then yes, he should be perfectly fine. Those aren't terrible and are probably even respectable.

I couldn't say, myself. Perhaps I've just had bad luck... I evolved an Eevee I received fairly shortly after he hatched, so I have no idea if that's just how he is, and the other... well, that one certainly took after his trainer, that's for certain.

I'm glad to hear that, then. It has kept him busy...

I have noticed that Pokémon take after those that train them, sometimes. So that might be why....or maybe your Eevee didn't want to evolve into the form it did, and would have preferred a different one...leading to it acting out later.

As far as Pokemon hobbies go, he really could do worse.

Perhaps you do have a point... a few of my favorite Pokemon have taken after me, to a certain extent. Two is a fairly limited sample size, anyway --- but it's not a particularly good first impression.

I've never really gotten the impression that he'd rather be something else, to be honest... he does certainly enjoy melting into whatever body of water is closest to make things more difficult.

Ah, well....in that case, perhaps there is something else causing him to act that way. That, or that's just his personality...

But I think Pokemon do pick up things from their trainers, whether they themselves realize it or not. Some others are completely independent....so I suppose it really is different from Pokemon to Pokemon.

I've observed that as well. In my case, the Pokemon I've caught in the wild have been a bit more... unpredictable than the ones I've hatched. Which makes sense, of course; it's just my Vaporeon that's a bit of an anomaly.

My Porygon is....certainly more adventurous than I am, so I understand what you mean.

Ah. ..My friend, Nanami-san, won him for me at the Game Corner at Celadon as a late birthday present a few days after I showed up here. From what I can remember, Porygon, Abra, and Dratini are all offered as prizes for the games there if you can win enough coins.

Is that so? I never really considered giving those much attention, but perhaps I will at some point. Those are some interesting Pokemon... though it might be easier to obtain them through people selling eggs and whatnot.

I can't speak for Abras and Dratini, but I do plan on trying to breed some Porygon, eventually....so maybe you could get one of them, if you wanted.

I'll consider it... but I'll admit, Porygon aren't exactly the sort of thing I can see myself getting on well with.

Technology isn't exactly my forte, and I get the impression it wouldn't be the best idea to own one if I didn't entirely know what I was doing with it. I'm not hopeless, at least, but it seems like it could go disastrously in theory.

I understand. I'm rather fond of technology and programming is what I'm good at, so I guess I find Pokemon like Porygon extremely fascinating for that reason.

Understandable enough --- I've developed a fondness for Ghost Pokemon for roughly that same reason, albeit coming from a completely different angle entirely.

It's interesting...I never thought I would be as interested in these Pokemon that I am, upon first showing up here. But they all are so unique with their different species and types that I can't help but want to study them further.

No, I really can't blame you. This place seems like it's practically encouraging you to learn all you can about them, and they're just strange enough that it is really rather interesting to learn more about them.

That's right. Since I'm a breeder here, I guess having a curiosity about Pokemon is a good thing.

Oh, yes, certainly. Though, that opens up a whole new dimension of trying to understand them, because the rules behind that are more than a bit confusing.

Well...it is something to occupy myself with, at least. It's....rather nice to have something different to do, actually.
