[Well, that sure is the sound of a lot of little baby grass goats bleating in the background. The camera pans around to show several of them trotting playfully around the backyard, their tails flicking and some of them kicking up their hooves as they run.]

Have...have any of you ever seen this many of the same type of Pokemon in one area before? These little guys are all over Goldenrod right now...

[Chihiro has to raise his voice slightly over the din as he turns the Gear back around to face himself, grinning as one of the goats comes up to his side, pushing his nose into his hand. He runs his hand over the top of its head, stopping to scratch behind the ears.]

I have quite a few with me right now...I'm not sure if they are around in other areas, but there are definitely a lot here.

[Actually, it looks like he's...close to becoming a bit overwhelmed with goats here, if he's not careful. It's hard to count how many are in the background there, but it's more than just a couple.

Most of them are playing in the backyard together, but eventually Chihiro starts to try to lead them to where the barn is after his video is done, letting his Arcanine and Mighteyena stay behind them to keep them from darting off and back into the yard again. It's easier said than done...and before long the little goats have scattered again, calling out cheerfully as they hop around Chihiro and back into the grass.]

I-I think I'll be okay. I'm hoping I'll be able to find homes for most of them...then I won't have quite so many to try to watch over.

New Pokemon like this really are good for breeders like us, though, aren't they?

Thank you. They are...I'm interested to see which of these Pokemon will be compatible with others.

If I had to guess, they'd probably be field-type, right? That's how these things seem to work, but sometimes they really do surprise you.

Yes, I think so too. I guess the only way we'll be able to find out until more has been discovered about them is to try breeding them and see what happens, right?

That's right!

Oh, why don't we trade notes on them? We can work together!

Oh- sure! I'd like that, Garry-kun. If I learn anything new about these Pokemon, I'll be sure to let you know as soon as I can.

There's one thing I think we can both agree on right away, however- it seems like they're most likely grass types!

Yes. Unless they're a type of Pokemon that's supposed to appear like another type, they're probably grass. They look like they're made of foliage, after all.

Well they seem genuinely leafy... So I think we should be alright.

Of course, it's always possible that they're a dual-type as well.

If they do have another type, and I had to guess...I would say ground, maybe. What do you think?

That definitely seems like it would work best from what we've seen, wouldn't it?

I think so! Though I'm not sure how surprised I would be if it turned out to be different...like you said, you never can know for sure by appearances alone.

[artificialrose]

There's also evolution to consider! If they're the kind which do, then there's always the possibility of their type changing or gaining another one! Like the Charmander line- just plain fire until they become a Charizard and have a flying secondary.

It's actually really fun to think about!

You're right! It's also very likely that if they don't acquire a second type, they'll still be able to use a variety of moves that aren't grass or normal, like you'd expect.

I'll be a bit worried if they can use fire moves! [He gives a soft laugh.] Actually, maybe that's something I'll look into... Ib and I have enough money to buy a house, so I can afford to get other things now.

I can see what kind of TMs these goats can use.

I really should look into getting more TMs myself for the Pokemon I breed...I don't actually have all that many yet, to tell you the truth.

Yes! We're going to get settled in, and then we're thinking of having a housewarming party! We really hope you'll come.

[Once things settle down, anyway.]

Neither do I, ha ha. We'll have to experiment a little bit then!

Well that's settled, then. We'll both go out and get some new TMs and try them out on these goats and see which ones work.
