[It's been a little while since Chihiro has posted anything to the Network. Between traveling and swarms and crazy weather, things have been understandably busy. In any case, now that they've stopped in Ecruteak he's finally gotten a chance to check on something that's been left in his PC...
Chihiro can be seen sitting near the head of a hotel bed with his hands resting loosely in his lap. It's been pretty chilly outside lately now that the weather has caught up with that freak snowstorm in August, so he's wearing a thick Pancham hoodie, the front of which seems to be...shivering?
...at least until Chihiro pulls his hands back and a little head with two red, rabbit-like ears springing out into view appears, sniffing a little at the air as if wondering where the warmth had gone. But more than that, the poor little thing looks very sad, as evident by the way he tries to bury his face in Chihiro's hoodie again with a squeaking sigh.]
This little guy showed up in my PC a few weeks ago...he belonged to Atsuro-kun.
[Chihiro gently pets the top of the Plusle's head with a small sigh.]
I'm sure he misses his trainer very much...it seems like this isn't the first time he's had a trainer go home. It's so sad to think about, but he won't be alone with me, at least...
I've been reading some information about Plusle, and it seems like they are happier when they are with a partner. And Kodama here does seem to be lonely...
Does anyone know where Minun usually live? I was thinking maybe I could catch one to help keep him company.

[Tsukiyama's words are gentle over the feed, though; he doesn't seem distressed or anything, just a little subdued.]
It's been suggested to me to try using psychic-type Pokémon, if possible, to see what sort of thing might help them; I'm never entirely sure how I feel about that, but perhaps you're a bit more receptive.
Yes...I try to cheer them up as much as I know how, but sometimes it doesn't work.
[It's understandable, though. He can't imagine being separated from someone who was essentially your partner, only to be given to someone else that you don't even know all that well. The best he can do is treat them right.]
Mm...I suppose it couldn't hurt. He seems a little nervous around most of my Pokemon, but I have a Musharna that is very easy going that he might get along with.

[Or if nothing else, it hopefully won't hurt anything.]
How have you been holding up otherwise, amore? It's been a while since I've last heard from you.
no subject
[The last thing they need is to get stuck on a route in the middle of a freak snowstorm, and here you just don't know.]
How have you been, Tsukiyama-san?
no subject
Really, if you can avoid travelling during the winter I would suggest doing exactly that - ahh, but I suspect I'm preaching to the choir.
no subject
Not to mention how unpredictable the weather has been lately...I wouldn't be too surprised if we started seeing snow again soon. I'm glad to hear you've been doing good, though. I'm hoping that maybe this month will be...a little quieter, this year.
[He's not holding out too much hope but gosh darnit maybe we can have a decent Halloween for once.]
no subject
[no seriously what was that even also he's pretty sure we all may have died a lot?
hopefully this time we will not die a lot.]

I wonder what ever happened to them... They haven't caused any trouble since, at least. Not that I know of, anyway.

[...he just wants to hope so badly that maybe the madmen have decided to mend their ways and not resurrect ancient Pokemon to destroy everything again.]

[YOU...YOU MEAN WELL...]

[That's...going to give him pause for a moment, really; it's not something he's considered in much depth, just because it's not really territory that he wants to breach with most people, but. Still. Mnngh.]
I've certainly seen a good amount of change in people since coming here, anyway, so I won't say that you're wrong on that.
no subject
Something about this place does seem to have that affect on people. For better or worse, depending...
[Nobody ever said the change was a good one, after all.]
But I think it's mostly for the better, don't you think?
no subject
...It depends on the person, I think. What's "better" for most might not be for some.
no subject
[He shifts a little then, lifting a hand to brush his hair from his eyes.]
Ah...I'm sorry, I didn't mean to bother you with talk like that. I guess I've just been thinking about how experiences here affect people since a few friends have left recently. Though...I guess it doesn't matter too much, if you won't remember.
