There is something I have been thinking about for a while, so I wanted to get some opinions from others about it.

The PokéGear has a lot of useful functions. Some of them are pretty standard, like the Pokédex, Map, or Radio, and most of us use the PokéGear connect to speak to the Network like I am doing right now. And of course you can play games or listen to music on it, too.

The Gear is useful for both trainers and breeders when it comes to having ready information on Pokémon, but I think most of us do tend to use it mostly for communication purposes. But that's why I wanted to ask...

Are there any sorts of applications that you think might be useful additions to the PokéGear? Something that could be helpful for you as a trainer, or breeder...or possibly just something you would like for recreational purposes, maybe.

Maybe there should be some kind of scanner for Pokemon in the area you're in. It could help with people trying to get a special one.

i was talking about it during that new years party
its not as important in johto cause we can all speak the same language
but if we go anywhere like kalos again we could have problems
i mean its not the best idea and i dunno how easily you could make something like that
but if anyone can do it you can!

huh!! what about a way to watch tv shows on these things?? i mean i only see tvs when i'm in like goldenrod or something and i think these things COULD play them but i'm never really getting the actual story.

it's just one cool episode!! and then it cliffhangers and goes to a different show!! i might be on the road next week... how am i supposed to know how it ends!?!?!
